The Center for the Art of East Asia (CAEA) and the Department of Art History at the University of Chicago invite applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in conjunction with the CAEA’s digital humanities initiative, the Dispersed Chinese Art Digitalization Project (DCADP). This research-based position will assist the Project’s scholarly engagements and includes the following:

Research of artifacts and related objects featured in the DCADP Project.
Organization of annual DCADP conference.
Assist DCADP publications and publish scholarly works using project materials.
Assist in planning and curating of DCADP-related exhibitions.

The expected start date of the position is July 1, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. The selected candidate will be appointed as a Postdoctoral Scholar for an initial term of one year, with reappointment possible for a total of four years.
