- The Bei Shan Tang Doctoral Thesis Grant (the “Grant”) is a thesis writing grant. The Grant awardee must have completed all thesis-related research, data collation and field trips prior to the commencement of the Grant.
- The applicant must be a PhD candidate whose dissertation topic is pertinent to traditional Chinese art.
- The Grant awardee must engage in full-time thesis writing and complete the dissertation within the Grant period. The maximum Grant period is 12 months.
- Priority will be given to outstanding candidates with financial need.
- Applicants must not concurrently hold any other fellowships, scholarships or grants.
- There are no restrictions regarding the age, nationality and gender of the applicant.
- The Grant is non-renewable.
