Northumbria University Gallery is comprised of Gallery North, the University Collection and the Woon Collection of Asian Art. Gallery North is a space in which academics and students develop and share contemporary practice and research. The University Collection holds over three thousand modern and contemporary works of art. The Woon Collection of Asian Art is made up of significant items from the Indus Valley, Gandhara, Yunnan, Kashmir, Cambodia and Korea as well as items of Buddhist art from different periods and geographic locations.

The University is seeking to appoint the Lim Ai Fang Fellow to be based in the Woon Gallery of Asian Art.

The Fellow will help to manage the University Gallery, website and social media communication and contribute to external engagement and widening participation around the collections through a programme of events and exhibitions. They will help build and consolidate our global reputation by managing the gallery to the highest museum standards as well as through professional practice. They will also help develop new and impactful research projects in collaboration with colleagues and a range of high-profile institutions and external partners and generate external income.
