People often take money objects (coins, banknotes, etc) for granted – as long as they work, most people don’t look too closely. But they are carriers of all kinds of information. The designs represent the authority that issues them, the manufacture is often at the cutting edge of technology. This paper will give examples of these and of the importance of trust and expectation.
