“Mutual Adaptation between China and the Graeco-Roman World? Case Studies of Material and Visual Culture, 1st to 3rd Centuries CE”

The Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Padua will host a seminar titled “Mutual Adaptation between China and the Graeco-Roman World? Case Studies of Material and Visual Culture, 1st to 3rd Centuries CE” on Monday, 18 May 2026, at 15:00 in Sala Branca, Palazzo Maldura, Padua. The seminar will be delivered by Junjie Zhou and organized by Margarita Gleba within the framework of the DBC Textile Lab. Focusing on exchanges between China and the Graeco-Roman world during the first three centuries CE, the talk explores processes of cultural interaction through material and visual culture.
