Position: Visiting Assistant Professor – Asian Art

The Department of Art at Colorado College invites applications for a one-year non tenure-track position in Asian art history beginning August 23, 2022. Visiting Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) qualifications preferred; Instructor (ABD) possible. Prior teaching experience required. Research and teaching interests in Chinese and Japanese art preferred. Ability to teach art from a transnational perspective a plus. There will be opportunities to collaborate with the Asian Studies Program at Colorado College, in activities at the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, and in arts-related initiatives and other programs at the Butler Center, the hub of diversity, inclusion, and intercultural exchange for the Colorado College community.
